It’ll never go lower than yellow, I’m afeared. Constant terror, that’s what we need! Constant, endless terror…from our own government.
It’s insane. The next level down from yellow, “guarded” (blue) is called ‘general risk of terrorist attack’ which would seem more appropriate for the everyday threat level, even if you were intent on scaring the shit out of the population constantly.
What’s funny too is that the best we can hope for is “low” (green) which is ‘low risk of terrorist attacks.’ That’s the best we can hope for.
Just remember there is always a risk of terrorist attacks and also remember who’s your daddy.
