I’m back, but posting may be somewhat erratic now to the end of the month. Much ado out in meatspace. For today, though, POP QUIZ!

2. Two steps back: Omaha Schools Split Along Race Lines — Did the civil rights movement not “take”?
3. Warm and fuzzy: Ala. lawmakers back pardon for Rosa Parks — Is this symbolic gesture— in Alabama of all places —reason enough to affect your answer to the previous question?
4. The practice of “diseasemongering” by the drug industry is promoting non-existent illnesses or exaggerating minor ones for the sake of profits: Drugs companies ‘inventing diseases to boost their profits’ — This doesn’t surprise you does it?

Yeah, that Omaha segregation story is pretty wild. Makes me happy to not live in the Midwest anymore.
As far as the GOP strategy goes; they can talk about Martians invading the planet and it won’t make a difference. Once Americans make up their mind (for better or worse) they stop listening, and they are sick of Republican’s shit. A war in Iran might make a difference, but I’m beginning to actually believe the Republicans are in trouble this election. When Newt raises a warning flag, you know there’s trouble.
