Blog Against Theocracy: Pre-Blog Warm Ups

April 5, 2007

Blog Against Theocracy ImageRegarding this weekend’s upcoming Blog Against Theocracy event: Here is the comment I would have left on this post at Dakota Voice Blog if they allowed comments…

Your Montag’s imaginary comment:

You’ve constructed some nice straw men here. But you’re fishing with red herring. (That doesn’t make a lot of sense because I’ve mixed metaphors, but anyway…)

Will you consider reading some of the posts to see what’s really up?

PS: Full de facto theocracy doesn’t need to be in place in the United States in order for people to be against theocracy in general.

Bob Ellis of Dakota Voice Blog, you are welcome to comment here if you choose to respond. No pressure, though!

Hey, can anybody comment here? Mighty open minded of you, Montag.

You’ve got more courage in that hangnail on your left thumb, than certain “bloggers” who do not allow comments from “non-team members.” Ahem.

Yeah. I read that comments should be allowed on some ‘blogger code of ethics’ thing somebody made up. But it makes sense. I feel like I should be trying to start a conversation here, though I haven’t had a whole lot of luck with pulling in commenters…

That code thingy also said you should reply to the comments you do get. (So I do.) Thanks for stopping in!

Bob must work for the Bush administration. They never let a dissenting voice within ten miles of the President.

There are factual answers to every one of Bob’s “arguments” … too bad he’ll probably never hear them.
