1. This weekend “they” told us that the government of Iran was deliberately sending weapons into Iraq to be used against US forces. But nobody would actually, officially, really say so. (Feh.) — Then, yesterday: Top American General Disputes US Military Claim on Iran — General Pace said: “Iranians are involved, and it’s clear that materials from Iran are involved, but I would not say by what I know that the Iranian government clearly knows or is complicit.” [Think Progress has the highlights.] — Then, also yesterday: CNN reports that some of those ‘Iranian materials’ are going to US friends, the SCIRI political party. [Again, Think Progress has the highlights in video and transcript form.] — I say bomb Iran! (For being confusing!)
