I’m looking for an online article where they interview an environmental scientist. He says something to the effect, “We are now on a grand adventure into the unknown”–in reference, of course, to the irreversible global warming. Have you seen this article? I accidentally deleted mine, I think. It was a great article, too. Very scary stuff.
I don’t know. I remember reading an article that said at this point, just reducing the production of greenhouse gasses is not enough, and to reverse warming, we would have to do something to mitigate the greenhouse gasses already in the atmosphere.
Not sure that was the same article you are talking about, but I think it may have been on Salon.com. Later I’ll try and track it down.
