JUST ADDED a third element to the self-description of my political leanings. Will henceforward claim the title Anti-Imperialist, Economic Disestablishmentarian, Cultural Nihilist.

yeah, but it’s part of my CN shtick.
In a spirit of comradely solidarity and sincere criticism/self-criticism, I must point out that your economic position is missing a ‘t’. I aspire to cultural nihilism, but old, reactionary patterns of past oppression compel me to grammar fascism and orthographic revanchism.
BTW, I’ve wondered for years… Who is that fetchingly besotted nearly naked man in the pool?

The drain bammage is worse than I thought. I could have sworn there was a ‘t’ missing, and looking back there’s a mushy spot in memory. Oh well, nobody makes it out unscathed.
Work situation less worrisome?
i wouldn’t say less worrisome exactly. though i have been wildly successful doing the self-employment thing and getting plenty of work on a contract basis. success is a curse for an underachiever like me. and i really don’t relish the 19+ hour days i’ve been forced to grind out over the last three weeks because i took on too much work. desperation’ll do that to ya.
I want more on cultural nihilism. This could be a bottomless pit that I could blog from continuously for the remainder of my days.
