Mysterious reptile eludes capture in park — The 5-foot-long (1.5 meter) reptile was first spotted last Wednesday swimming in a lake at an urban park in the gritty Los Angeles suburb of Harbor City. — What’s “gritty” ’bout Harbor City? Hey, that rhymes.

Yeah, I heard on the radio this morning that they’re just going to “take a break” for a couple of weeks, hoping that the creature will “return to its habitual routine” and will thus be easier to capture. Huh.
Hopefully its ‘habitual routine’ isn’t eating domesticated animals, or worse.
