Cheney: $1.93m tax return
April 15, 2006
Just in case you hadn’t heard, Dick Cheney is getting a $1.93 million tax return this year (LA Times). Thought you’d want to know. Not the sort of numbers I’m expecting myself, but hey, I haven’t been the driving political force behind a war waged entirely on the basis of lies, a propaganda campaign at home to maintain support for said unjust war among the masses, and I certainly haven’t mustered the energy to shoot any of my acquaintances in the face or cripple the Geneva Convention, let alone undermining any sense of human decency or equality that this country might have included in the (receding) past as part of its national image. He’s earned it.

Just saw a poll where 58% of Americans feel upper-income people don’t pay enough in taxes. Ya think so?!?
That’s cool. Maybe he can use it to build his mausoleum.
Right you are, Fehll. He’s earned it in spades. It has something to do with giving all his Halliburton Money to charity. This way there’s no conflict of intrest, see?
I like Neil’s idea, though. Put that $1.93M to good use.
Holy…I have nothing to say after the “holy”.
Um, how the hell much did he pay in?
That’s what I’d like to know.
And, he better not have tried to get that damned EIC.
